Santa (Animation)
A fun animation using canvas and processing.js. Enjoy the details and the humor in this demo by Grant Jenkins, that makes for a great e-card to share during Christmas time.

Santa's Workshop - CSS only - Single Div CSS Art
Another fun animation, this time by Greg Robleto, and this one with a twist: it is all CSS and a single HTML element. No libraries or JavaScript either. And the result is mindblowing.

enemy
Akeido created an astonishing composition for a landing page, with many layers that combine and mix to create an espectacular result. The particles in the background take it to the next level. Resize the page to see how the two characters blend with the title.

Layers upon layers upon layers.
Fractal Kitty always creates artistic experiences (sometimes combined with poems and written art in the comments). This time, she created a piece of generative art that resembles layers of rock, and has some great texture.

Simple Swiper.JS Example
Sometimes, it is the small things. This may look like a simple example for a swiping library, but Alexis Mora's picture gallery is incredibly nice and the functionality is really smooth. I may end up using a similar approach for one of my projects.
-
led-matrix
Lea Rosema created a web component that takes an image as a parameter, and it applies SVG filters to transform the image and make it look like it was generated by a matrix of LED lights.
-
Gradient Glowing Cards
A border that changes colors is not necessarily new, but one that also glows with the border color is something else. Vedika Basarkar's demo is so simple and yet so visually appealing, it is ridiculous. Amazing effect.
-
Box of Light
My recommendation: play with this demo! Move the piece around with your mouse, and explore the demo from different angles. It is really amazing. And the level of detail that Paul went into for the lights and shadows is simply mesmerizing. Kudos!

Accessible <image-compare> Web Component (no Shadow DOM)
Add two images to this web component created by Stefan Matei, and see how it generates a slider/comparer between the two images. Created with a range input behind the scenes, it works with mouse and keyboard, and it incorporates web accessibility features.
